Throughout my HR career, I've coached people through difficult seasons — both professional and personal — and I've lived through one myself. A health crisis with my younger son taught me something I'd already seen play out across every organization I've worked with: when people feel genuinely supported, they show up stronger. More engaged. More resilient. More capable of doing the work that actually moves your business forward. That's not just a compassionate idea — it's a performance one.
We cannot expect our most valued resource — our people — to leave their lives at the door when they come to work. The line between life and work has never really worked that way, and trying to enforce it costs you: in turnover, in disengagement, in effort left on the table. To get the full value out of your team — the creativity, the follow-through, the discretionary effort that separates good results from great ones — you have to lead with the whole person in mind.
Whether I'm leading a project, coaching a leader, or helping you find the right person to join your team, that's the lens everything runs through: how do we get your people performing at their full potential, so your organization can too.
The HPS logo, inspired by a lotus flower, reflects the same principle: growth happens through challenge, not around it. A business outgrowing its first HR hire, a leader stretching into a bigger role, a team navigating real change — every one of those moments is an opportunity, not just a hurdle. With the right support, organizations that grow their people well are the ones that grow, period.

Stephanie Marlow is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Holistic People Solutions, LLC. With over 20 years in Human Resources, she's worked across the full spectrum of company growth — from serving as a department of one, to scaling HR functions, and ultimately serving as Chief People Officer for a global manufacturing company based in Wisconsin. That range means she's built HR from scratch, grown it through change, and run it at scale — and she brings that full perspective to every engagement, whether she's leading a project, coaching a leader, or helping you find the right person for your team.
Stephanie's work today centers on three areas: project-based HR consulting, executive coaching, and HR recruiting. She brings this experience from working in a range of industries including Professional Services, Non-Profits, Manufacturing, Quick Service Restaurants, and Higher Education. Stephanie has also spent time on the staffing agency side of recruiting as well as in-house, giving her a practical, market-tested view of how to find and place the right talent. She is a committed advocate for mental health and wellness in the workplace, believing that people perform best when they're genuinely supported, not just managed.
Stephanie holds a B.S. in Management with a concentration in Human Resources from California State University, Stanislaus, and a J.D. from Humphreys College Laurence Drivon School of Law — a background that shapes how she thinks about HR risk, compliance, and the legal realities businesses navigate, though she does not practice law.
Stephanie lives in Wisconsin with her husband, their blended family of four boys, and two dogs.

Executive and Leadership Coaching
Strong leaders aren't born fully formed — they're developed, often through honest feedback and a sounding board they can trust. Stephanie works one-on-one with executives and emerging leaders to sharpen decision-making, strengthen communication, and build the kind of leadership presence that drives real results across a team. Coaching engagements are tailored to where each leader is and what your organization needs from them next.
